2022 Domaine Parent Bourgogne Cote d'Or Pinot Noir

Domaine Parent's Bourgogne Côte d'Or was formerly labeled as Bourgogne Pinot Noir.
 
A fine, bright colour and an eloquent, fruity bouquet with hints of cherry.
Well-balanced and smooth, this wine is not pretentious, is pleasant and nice to drink whilst relatively young. 
 
Appellation: Bourgogne Pinot Noir.
Soils: Clay-limestone.
Harvesting: By hand and sorting though of the fruit.
Wine-making: Stalking 100%. Cold maceration for about 4 days; temperature control. Soft crushing and pumping over 2 to 3 times a day. Total fermentation on skins 12-14 days.
Maturing: 12 months in French oak barrels. Bottled at the winery.

Jacques Parent has handed over the estate to his daughters Anne and Catherine.
Domaine Parent obtained organic certification in 2013 (ECOCERT Certification).
