Château Giscours (3rd Cru) is an old Margaux estate with roots dating back to the first half of the 14th century and is today one of the largest landholders in Margaux.

The château is owned by Eric Albada Jelgersma, who also acquired Château du Tertre (5th Cru) in 1997. Unfortunately, Eric passed away in 2018 at the age of 79, leaving behind three children who continue to run the estates today.

Wine is produced on an impressive 94 hectares of the estate's approximately 400 hectares, annually yielding about 300,000 bottles of the château's first wine, Château Giscours 3rd Cru, and about 120,000 bottles of the second wine, La Sirène de Giscours. The vineyards are planted with 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot.
