Labruyère-Prieur Sélection
Since 1850, Domaine Labruyère has been one of the leading domaines in Beaujolais, with its home in Moulin-à-Vent. Over the years, the estate has evolved and is now one of the largest landowners in Burgundy. In addition to its holdings in Beaujolais, the domaine has acquired areas in Champagne, California, Bordeaux and notably in Côte d'Or, the heartland of Burgundy.
With the acquisition of Domaine Jacques Prieur, Labruyère-Prieur Sélection was created as a négociant business, sharing the same address as Domaine Jacques Prieur.
Edouard Labruyère is the daily manager, and the wines are vinified by Nadine Gublin, who is also the oenologist for Domaine Jacques Prieur. In this way, the same team is behind the wines of both Jacques Prieur and Labruyère-Prieur Sélection. The latter aims for a lighter and more elegant style, using fewer new oak barrels and less bâtonnage.
