2012 Château Lagrange 3. Cru is dark red with tangy notes of cassis and black cherry. The nose is very expressive.
The palate is silky, smooth, almost creamy. A very harmonious and balanced wine that impresses with the characteristic elegance of the vintage.
Consultant oenologist: Éric Boissenot.

Expert tasting notes: "Deep, dark, ruby-red colour. Quite a closed pencil-shaving, graphite, and cassis nose. The palate has clean cassis and graphite notes but is a little closed and linear. There is balanced alcohol and the tannins close it up quickly. Hopefully it will open nicely given time".

Blend:
67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot.

Average age of the vine:
40 years.
