Château Branaire-Ducru 4th Grand Cru Classé in 1855. Formerly named Château Branaire (Duluc-Ducru).
 
Vintage 2014 fully reflects the home style by showing an expressive and rich nose with ripe fruit, but keeping the freshness. The mouth is fleshy at the attack developing along a dense body. The final is complex, the good acidity level gives a beautiful balance. Consultant Winemaker: Eric Boissenot.

65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc.

As soon as he had bought the property, Patrick Maroteaux said he wanted to produce wines characteristic of Saint-Julien with a uniqueness that would distinguish them as one of the greatest.
