The very classic 2017 vintage has greatly benefited Domaine Laurent Père & Fils Clos-Vougeot Grand Cru Sui Generis La Plante L’Abbé Vieilles Vignes.

Dominique Laurent’s usual impressive concentration is beautifully combined here with purity and finesse in this dark brick-red wine. Aromas of ripe black berries, violet, and rose greet the nose, along with emerging tertiary notes of leather and forest floor.
The palate is crisp and powerful, offering refined flavors of ripe blackberries, blackcurrant, violet, leather, and a touch of roasted notes. Together with the balanced acidity and soft tannins, this creates the impression of a precise and delicate nectar – with a strikingly long finish.
