2022 Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux Bourgogne Les Maladieres

Les Maladières from Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux (Nuits-Saint-Georges Lieux dits) is an excellent, classic "standard" Pinot Noir.
 
Ruby red color at the core with a violet rim. The bouquet offers a basket of small wild red and black berries, followed by notes of black pepper, moss, mushrooms, and game.
The taste is vibrant and fresh, with plenty of primary fruit, followed by hints of meat and black pepper. Good balance between the youthful tannins. The acidity makes the wine absolutely drinkable and inviting.
