Vintage 2022 is woodsy with sweet plums and blueberries on the nose, this is a Les St-Georges in largesse. There are guts and girth here, as one would expect, with a quivering acidity and lightly quincey tannins. There is excellent fruit purity, and the very long finish is filled with crushed slate. Give this six to eight years to harmonize.

Halfway between Prémeaux and Nuits-Saint-Georges, Les Saint Georges is undoubtedly the most well-known vintage of the commune. ldeally located flush with the hillside, with an eastern exposition, the vine blossoms on a large range of soils. Located at the mid-slope, complex soils, composed of limestone screes of sand from the top of the hillside, and clay.
