Les Suchots is one of the great names of Burgundy wine. His manliness, his rich and suave presence are characteristics, and it ensure a high guard. 
 
Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots from Domaine René Cacheux et Fils shows a purple color with bright reflections.
Rating of red and black fruit on spicy background.
Ample, structured, spicy, very well balanced.
Very nice concentration with great elegance. Very good length. 

Les Suchots is more structured and more "masculine" than Les Beaux-Monts.
 
Location of the two Les Suchots plots:
One is only three meters away from the La Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru.
The other is just 50 centimeters of the Échezeaux Grand Cru.
 
Vinification:
Manual harvest and sorting.
100% destemme.
Open tank fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Punching down.
 
Ageing:
Oak barrel-ageing for 18 months (50% new barrels).
No fining and no filtering.
Bottling at the domain.
