WINES AND ACCESSORIES

All prices are in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT, applicable taxes, and PBS transaction fees. Prices exclude delivery/shipping. 

 

PRICE ERRORS

If a price is obviously incorrect and you should reasonably have noticed this, we are not obligated to deliver the product at the incorrect price.

DELAYS, BACKORDERS OR OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

In case of delays, backorders, or out of stock items, we strive to promptly inform you about the situation and what we can do to resolve it.

 

​WINE EVENTS

All prices are in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT.

 

DELIVERY

Wines and accessories are delivered to mainland connections in Denmark at a fixed price of 125.00 DKK including VAT, regardless of the order size.

WHEN CAN YOU EXPECT YOUR ORDER

Orders placed during a weekend or on a public holiday will be processed on the next business day.

Delivery within Denmark (including bridge-connected islands) is carried out as soon as possible and within five business days. If expedited delivery is needed, please send us an email at sales@greenwoodfinewine.dk – we will find a solution.

​Delivery to non-bridge connected islands in Denmark will be made as swiftly as possible according to the prevailing rates and terms of our trusted carrier. For international delivery, please contact us sales@greenwoodfinewine.dk

PICKUP

Your order can be collected at Greenwood Fine Wine on weekdays between 9 am and 4.30 pm, unless different arrangement is requested and agreed prior to pick up. Please call us on tel. +45 33 12 13 19.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE

Individuals must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcoholic beverages from this webshop. By completing an order, the buyer confirms compliance with the age restrictions through age verification using MitID.

​MINIMUM PURCHASE

We have no minimum quantity limit. You can choose to buy full cases or individual bottles.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

After receiving your order, you will be sent an order confirmation once we have verified the inventory. The confirmation will include your order number, the confirmed quantity of bottles, and the total price for payment, along with a payment link. Your order is thus fully confirmed once you have received this email. The order confirmation with the payment link will be sent no later than the next business day.

The invoice amount will be deducted from your account when the order is shipped from our cellar or when it is ready for pickup.

When you pay with an international payment card, the amount is reserved immediately. The money is reserved on your card or account until:

  1. We charge the amount when your order is shipped from our cllar or ready for pickup, or

  2. The money is released according to an agreement with your card issuer. You can read more about the rules for your specific card from your card issuer.

Card Payment: When you choose to pay by card, the total amount, including any card fees, will be displayed.Charge: The amount will be charged when your order is shipped from our warehouse or is ready for pickup.Reservation: For international payment cards, the amount is reserved immediately upon ordering. The reserved funds will either be:Charged when the order is shipped or ready for pickup. Released according to an agreement with your card issuer. SECURITY MEASURES

Secure Processing: To ensure the protection of your card information, payments are processed through an approved and certified payment gateway provider, AltaPay A/S.

 

This system securely transmits payment information from the online store to the acquirer without granting access to Greenwood Fine Wine or any other parties.

 

All payment information is processed via a secure connection and complies with all international security standards.

 

Acquirer: The acquirer, Shift4, is a leading provider in international card acquiring and integrated payment and commerce technology. They handle the financial transaction between you (the cardholder or MobilePay user) and Greenwood Fine Wine.

RETURN POLICY FOR WINES AND ACCESSORIES

The right of withdrawal or return runs from the moment you receive your goods. Learn more

COMPLAINT

Complaints must be submitted in writing. You can do this by sending an email to sales@greenwoodfinewine.dk containing a description and, if applicable, images.

According to the Sale of Goods Act, you have a two-year warranty. The warranty runs from the moment you, as a customer, receive your goods.

​The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper storage or other self-inflicted damages that occurred after delivery.

In the case of a damaged item upon delivery, this must be noted on the delivery note or waybill. Immediately after the delivery, we encourage you to verify that the delivery contains the correct quantity and that the content otherwise match your order. If this is not the case, you should immediately send us a written notification via email.

The warranty for wine accessories is two years.​ ​The warranty for wine is limited by the wine's natural shelf life in the few cases where we state that the wine should not be stored for more than two years.

Wine should be stored in a dark place and ideally at 14°C. Wines mature faster and can be spoiled by storage in direct sunlight and/or under fluctuating or constant temperatures above 16°C.

​If your claim is valid, we will exchange the item. If this is not possible, you can either receive a refund or a reduction in the price. Please note that you can only request a refund or a price reduction if we cannot offer to exchange the item.

​Cork taint frequently occurs in both inexpensive and expensive wines with cork stoppers. Unfortunately, it's unavoidable. Greenwood Fine Wine facilitates an exchange if more than one out of 12 bottles of the same wine have cork taint. However, the exchange might not necessarily be for the same vintage (if the vintage is sold out).

It is specified that the right to claim under warranty expires two years after delivery in all cases.

The defective item should be returned to us along with a copy of the order confirmation and a printout of the complaint email to the address below.

​Packages sent Cash On Delivery (COD) will not be accepted. Returns can also be made by personally delivering the items to us at:

FILE OF COMPLAINT

If, as a consumer, you wish to complain about your purchase, you should send an email to Greenwood Fine Wine at sales@greenwoodfinewine.dk.
If we are unable to find a solution, you can submit a complaint via the complaint portal for the Nævnenes Hus to:

To file a complaint, the product or service you are complaining about must have cost at least 1,110.00 DKK and no more than 100,000.00 DKK.

There is a fee for having the complaint processed.
